Purbrook Go Club began in 2001 as a repsonse to the demise of the Portsmouth Club. We currently have five regular members, with frequent visitors, and aim for a very relaxed atmosphere and a wide range of discussion, not always only about Go.

The 2005 Youth Championships had a record 73 competitors aged from 7 to 18, with strengths from 1-dan to 35-kyu.
