The 2008 Youth Championships had 37 competitors aged from 7 to 18, with strengths from 4 kyu to 30 kyu, at King Edward VI School. Maria Tabor became the first girl youth champion with 5 straight wins including beating Chinese player Tom Zhai (4 kyu Stowe).

This page is intended to provide SGF files of the games, and some of the more diagram-intensive articles (mainly ones that can't really be understood without actually playing through the moves), in the British Go Journal. Usually only the moves (not the comments) are included.

All games were played on small boards.
The bar was at 4d/3d. Handicap and no-komi games are in red.
Held in Dublin as part of the Pandanet Go European Cup.
Swiss system. All games played on handicap of grade difference plus one (except level games).
Time limit of 20 minutes, shortening by 2 minutes per round.
