Stacey Points 2008-2009

With two events gone, Matthew Macfadyen shared the lead with Jaeup Kim on 3. Then the long tournaments started, with the Scottish Open players then leading the field.

London Open 28/12/08-31/12/08

126 players assembled for the first day of the 35th London Open (132 over all days). It was held again at ISH, Great Portland Street. Special guest was the teaching professional from Amsterdam, Guo Juan. Also Kobayashi Chizu popped in for a visit.

Korea Prime Minister Cup International Baduk Championship, 09/11/08-11/11/08

p >68 countries were represented at the third International Baduk Championships in Goyang city, not far from Seoul in Korea. Winner this year was 12-year old Li Chen Chien from Taiwan.
