Belated congratulations to Ingrid Jendrzejewski and Alex Selby on the birth of their daughter, Rosalind Margaret, on 1st October at 2:50pm, weighing in at 7.5 lbs.

The East Midlands was again held at the Space Centre in Leicester and as usual players were able to visit the exhibition between rounds. Unfortunately the Leicester marathon was on, which caught out one player who had to miss the first round. Running out the winner this year was Jon Diamond; he beat Warwick's Bruno Poltronieri in the last round.

It is with regret that Council have decided to discontinue the Individual League.

So few games have been played that the results of the league would be meaningless.

We have therefore closed the current season and have consigned the league table as it currently stands to history.

It is our great pleasure to inform you that we, The Nihon Kiin, will release the English and Chinese version of ‘Cho U’s 4 by 4 Go Puzzle’ (developed by Zoo Corporation) on iPad and iPhone from 5th October 2012.
