This originated as the Cambridge Tournament, but it was renamed in 1977 in honour of Nicolaus Trigantius, a monk who travelled to China in the 17th Century and wrote about Go.

There will be prizes for the overall winner, players on three wins, and probably some others. If games are recorded we shall try to arrange for stronger players to review in time available.

Often has a Novices' Tournament (below 20k) on 13x13 from 14:00 to 17:00.

2024 was on 16th March.
