We have just received the announcement of a very interesting tournament for students, organized by the Shanghai branch of the Ing Chang-ki Foundation. The tournament is open to any individual who is, has, or will attend University (both at the graduate and undergraduate level) in the 2014 calendar year.

We've just been informed that the 1st Zhu Gang Cup World Team Go Championship will be held from 19th to 26th December 2013 in Guangzhou City, Guang Dong province in China. The competition is composed of three kinds of teams: Seeded teams (China, Japan, Korea and Chinese Taipe), Wild Card teams (China, Japan and Korea) and Non-seeded teams.

Next year's European Go Congress is to be held in Poland.
The BGA has been allocated 4 discount vouchers (100€, 50€, 2 x 25€) to be awarded to people who may wish to attend but are in a position of financial hardship.

We've just been notified that the 3rd Pandanet Go European Team Championship will start soon, the first rounds to be played in September 2012. The previous two years have been very successful and the finals were hard-fought and exciting. The format will be the same: League games played on the Pandanet IGS and the finals in the EGC 2013 in Olsztyn, Poland.
