Arundel Tournament: Results 2010
The second Arundel Tournament was held on a Sunday at the football club, in the shadow of the castle.
30 players took part and the winner was Matthew Macfadyen (6 dan Leamington). Second was Matthew Cocke (4 dan Epsom) and third Alistair Wall (3 dan Wanstead). Steve Bailey (5 kyu West Surrey) and Malcolm Law (13 kyu Brighton) won 3/3 and Neil Cleverly (7 kyu Bournemouth) got a prize for winning his first 2. Xinyi Lu (5 kyu Maidenhead) won the 9x9 and the Brighton Belles were the best team.

British Youth Go Championship Results: 2010
The 2010 Youth Championships had 22 competitors aged from 6 to 19, with strengths from 1 kyu to 35 kyu. The library at Loughborough Grammar School served as a fine venue. Tian-Ren Chen from Loughborough retained the youth championship with 5 straight wins including beating Aston's Mazhar Warraich. Prizes and places went to:

Skye Tournament: Results 2010
The Isle of Skye Go Club hosted their first tournament at the Tongadale Hotel in Portree. 32 players took part in the main event, consisting of a mix of locals players and players from Scotland, England and even Switzerland.
Winner was Matthew Macfadyen (6 dan Leamington) winning all six games. Second on four wins were Yohei Negi and Francis Roads, both 3 dan. Another six players won four, but the only player to win five out of six was Philipp Reinhard (3 kyu) from Zurich.

Nottingham Tournament: Results 2010
Nottingham University hosted the 7th Nottingham after a 22 year break. 42 players took part. Winner was Alex Selby (4 dan Cambridge) despite losing his last game to Sandy Taylor (1 dan Durham).
As well as Sandy, the players who won all 3 were Ben Ellis (6 kyu Leicester) and Pat Ridley (10 kyu Chester). Elliot Mintz from Nottingham University got the fighting spirit prize. The Go-word quiz was won by Ingrid Jendrzejewski and Alistair Turnbull from Cambridge.

Trigantius Tournament: Results 2010
This year Cambridge moved the Trigantius back from March to February and from the hospital to a city centre location. 46 players attend the event at St. Columba's Church.

Cheshire Tournament: Results 2010
Cheshire returned after a year gap for the British in Chester and ran again alongside the Frodsham Chess Tournament.
In the top group David Ward (3 dan Cambridge) was the winner, beating Sam Aitken (3 dan Warwick) in the final. In the Handicap Section, the winner on 5/5 was Justin Neeves (7 kyu Manchester). On 4/5 were Jack Ley (8 kyu Warwick) and Brian Timmins (9 kyu Shrewsbury). Jamie Taylor (5 kyu York) was the top junior winning 3/5. 28 players took part.

Wanstead Tournament: Results 2010
Wanstead returned to its old early year spot, but kept the same Wanstead House venue in East London.
Matthew Macfadyen got his first tournament win of the year. Other players winning all three were: Mike Cumpstey (3 kyu Manchester), Eric Hall (5 kyu Swindon) and Gary Gibson (7 kyu Wanstead). 32 players took part. Photos.

Furze Platt Tournament: Results 2010
60 players attended the HQ of HITACHI Europe Ltd for the 19th Maidenhead Tournament.
Jon Diamond (4 dan) was judged the winner on tie-break from David Ward (3 dan) and Tim Hunt (3 dan), all winning 2 games. Players winning 3/3 were Phil Beck (1 dan, Cambridge), Geoff Kaniuk (3 kyu Cambridge), Fancisco Divers (5 kyu London), Xinyi Lu (5 kyu Maidenhead) and John Collins (12 kyu St Albans). In addition all on 2/3 won a prize thanks to generous sponsorship from HITACHI. Team winner was the Central London team with 75 percent. There was no prize awarded in the 13x13.
