13 year old Chinese trainee professional Yue Wen - shown here - won Cambridge’s 2025 Trigantius Tournament, held in perfect spring sunshine in Cambridge’s Mill Road district. The next five top places all went to Chinese players too. Clarence Qin won the juniors and novices 13x13 side event. Other prizes for 3/3 wins went to Matthew Reid (Cambridge 1k), Xiangyu Ge (Cambridge 3k), Florian Pein (Lancaster 4k), Owen Ambridge (Cambridge 5K) and Miroslav Olsok (Cambridge 10k). A total of 76 players attended the main event, making the tournament by a whisker the most popular tournament in the UK within the last year.
