UK Draw First Match in New Season
The first match in the news season of the Pandnet B-League was against Sweden as last year. As last year the match ended in a draw. This left the UK team mid-table as all the matches were draws, apart from Italy beating Ireland 3-1 (John Courtney was the only Irish winner).
Michael Chang wrote: I played black against Weiying Sörlin. I am satisfied with my solid play in the game. I successfully attacked my opponent's big group to gain a victory at the end.
Jake Game wrote about his game: Sadly my game against Jérôme Salignon ended in a loss after missing a kill, in a very exciting and long game that was thoroughly enjoyable.
Scott Cobbold played Charlie Åkerblom, but sadly a group died and he had to resign.
Ryan Zhang started his game against Anton Christenson an hour earlier than the rest and played a great game. He killed a group and won comfortably in the end.
