This is easier than most of the ‘Get Strong’ series. The book consists of 175 full- board problems on the opening. It is not a book on joseki, but rather a book designed to help develop your sense of the proper direction of play. The problems in the first half of the book concentrate on the niren-sei, sanren- sei, Chinese, and Shusaku openings. This is not fully representative of modern play; the problems in the second half are more general. The explanations are reasonably detailed, addressing both the best choice and the reasons for rejecting other moves.
