Youth Handicap Info 13 November 2022

This will be a 3-round Swiss handicap tournament (you play people with the same number of wins) with fairly fast time limits. It will be in the BGA Youth group on OGS.

Free to enter! Young players of all levels are very welcome.

To enter just arrive before 13:45 and say hello and your BGA grade when you arrive.

Three rounds, rapidplay (10m + 10s Fischer time - so you get about 30 minutes each for the whole game).

First round will start as soon as we have done the draw after 14:00. If you need to miss any rounds please let us know at the end of the previous round.

There will be Youth Grand Prix points.

Notes: The first named player in the draw will be black and should send the challenge. If you are not sure how ask your opponent in chat to do it. Please announce the result in the chat window as soon as the game has finished. Please be careful where you click - don’t ask for an undo unless it was really a misclick - players do not have to accept undos. You must not have any external advice from other people, books, AI programs etc! Results will be held by the BGA, displayed on the BGA website, and used to calculate Youth Grand Prix scores.
