UK Draw with Sweden
In the first game of the 2025-2026 B-League season the team had to play newly demoted Sweden. The match ended a draw which is a good result against a strong country. This placed the team fifth, behind Sweden and the three winning teams of that round: Ireland, Belgium and Croatia. The next match is on 11th November against Netherlands.
Damon Woo wrote about his game with against Charlie Åkerblom: The early lead from the beginning he developed was kept throughout the game until the end. He won by 5.5.

By move 38 he had 3 corners and only one stone on the 4th line, his original hoshi! I did the exact opposite and ended up with a large centre and side. I was a bit careless later and lost the tail of a group but I was still comfortably ahead. I won by 15.5.
