The tournament was held (weather permitting) in December and replaced the Scottish Bar-Low and was called the Edinburgh Christmas. 2020 was cancelled, In 2022 it moved to September and from 4 to 3 rounds, 2023 on 9th September. 2024 on 14th September. Registration by 09:45. Prizegiving 17:30.

2025 reverts to the Edinburgh Christmas Tournament.
