We had a number of strong players playing their first tournaments in Europe this year - including, of course, the tournament winner; they were all entered as 3d (i.e. above the bar) for the duration of the event, and their starting grades in the European Go Database will be determined by their results during the event. We therefore anticipate that the final results table will involve rather fewer 3d players and rather more at 4d and 5d!
