The Irish Open is the main tournament of the Irish Go Congress in Dublin. It is often part of the European Grand Prix. It was called the Confucius Cup from 2012 to 2018 and 2022 on.
Usually preceeded by the Irish Rapid Play on the Friday evening.
Due to snow, 2018 event reduced to 3-round rapid play. The Confucius Cup was held in September in 2022 and 2023, and then 21/22 September 2024.
